Our Wedding

Drew and Julia first met in the Fall of 2022 on a Mohawk Trail cruise hosted by Squad Driven. Julia was lucky enough to have ridden shotgun with a mutual friend, while Drew was piloting the 911 GT3. After the drive, the group arrived at Whetstone Brewing in Brattleboro, VT, and as they say, the rest is history!They called it official in November of 2022, the day before Julia's birthday at a Celtics game.

How they met!

In 2023, the duo moved to Ashland and really started building a life together. Julia attended her first real SquadDriven rally as Drew's co-pilot in the GT3 as they made their way from Sugarloaf, Maine to Miami, Florida over 9 days. Julia and Drew shared their love for the outdoors, making picnic dates at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, attending numerous car shows around New England, and spending countless hours in the pool.

2023

2024 brought the pair plenty more adventures, including more car shows, more drives, more rallies, and holding hands with a penguin. Drew sold his beloved Jeep SRT for the Big Purple Dinosaur, the RSQ8, and ushered in a whole new phase for Bossman's Garage.The big rally for the year was driving from Woodstock, Vermont to Knoxville, Tennessee. Godzilla conquered the Back and Tail of the Dragon, and we had an absolute blast driving cross-country with our friends again.The most important thing that happened in 2024 was bringing home Roscoe, our bestest boy in the whole wide world! Puppy life is hard, but so so worth it, and we couldn't imagine life without our boy.

2024

Watching Roscoe grow up took up most of their 2025. From 9 pounds the day they picked him up, to plateauing around 75-80 pounds, he grew FAST! Every single day he brings smiles to their faces.Julia started her current position at BMW of Sudbury and fell head-first into the hustle and bustle of the car business, while Drew continued his position at B&amp;B Trading selling and distributing meat around New England. They attended another SquadDriven Rally in the Poconos in Pennsylvania, and for the 3rd year attended the Audrain Automotive Concours in Newport, RI. If there's ever any questioning what they're doing on any given weekend, there's a very good chance it's some sort of car event.

2025

The duo took their first big tropical vacation to start off 2026, heading to the Florida Keys to enjoy some sun, surf, sharks, and too many rum drinks. Drew brought back home some pirate treasure, a Spanish Four Reales coin salvaged from the wreck of the Atocha which sank in 1622.Roscoe got to finally play in the snow with the two massive snowstorms this year, enjoying every second of zoomies and eating far too much snow.The rest of the year so far has been filled with all sorts of fun things. Drew acquired his new Lamborghini, Julia sold her beloved Veloster N, lots of car fun, adventures with Roscoe, and trips to Nantucket and Michigan for weddings. But, the biggest thing in 2026 (so far) has been the Engagement!

2026

Drew secretly planned for months to surprise Julia with a proposal. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes designing the ring, selecting the stones, and planning the perfect day to surprise Julia with a proposal.The proposal happened at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, and not only was Julia surprised with a ring, but also with her family, Drew's family, and her best friend Raquelle to celebrate with champagne and a picnic!As is evidenced by the photo, Roscoe tied up Julia so she couldn't possibly run away! When Drew first brought the ring home from the jeweler, he showed it to Roscoe to get his approval. Roscoe immediately offered Drew his paw, because it's as much his ring as it is Julia's!

Rick and Kelly met in New Hampshire in 1988 while Kelly was working at a bank branch Rick was a client of. He would often leave cards and flowers in the drive-up drawer for Kelly, and would also ask for free samples of the money. The rest is history and they've been happily married since 1991.

We kindly ask guests to join us in celebrating in Black Tie attire. Gentlemen: A tuxedo is preferred, paired with a bow tie or tie, dress shoes, and optional cufflinks or pocket square. Similar dark-colored suits are also acceptable.Ladies: Floor-length gowns are encouraged, though elegant midi dresses are also welcome. For those driving down...

Avoid the rush by arriving outrageously early in the morning or late in the evening. People rush down after work hours to try to make their dinner reservations or first thing in the morning, so avoid that by planning to leave after dinnertime or at the absolute crack of dawn.Bring some snacks and get your road trip playlists ready!

For those Flying in...

If you are flying in from around the country, we recommend flying into Logan in Boston or TF Green in Providence. From Logan Airport, it is 87 miles to Wequassett Resort which can take as little as a 1h30 or as long as 3h depending on traffic, time of day, and weather. It's a little longer from Providence, only by about 10 miles.If you're planning on flying onto the Cape using Cape Air, we recommend Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis. It's about 17 miles from the Resort and would be a 25-30 minute drive.

Travel and Lodging

Beaches

Visit the beach or pool at Wequassett, or if you're looking to adventure away from the resort, visit Bank Street Beach, Red River Beach, Earle Road Beach, or Grey Neck beach. The Cape Cod National Seashore is also nearby. Some require a beach parking sticker, but you do have to pay for a minimum of one week.

Dining

Wequassett offers several different dining options within the resort. Most notable are twenty-eight Atlantic and Outer Bar. Thoreau's is a dark and moody environment offering cocktails, wine, and small plates. Get a drink under the gazebo at LiBAYtion, enjoy alfresco fine dining on the Verandahs, and grab a coffee and breakfast at The Sill, all without leaving the resort.Planning on adventuring more away from the resort? The Guild of Harwich Artists, Cape Cod Theatre Company, Cross Rip Gallery, Harwich Antiques Center, The Nines Art Gallery, and Reciprocity Artisans Market are just a few places to go shopping for new decor or art.The Harwich Historical Society, Brooks Academy Museum, Stage Harbor Lighthouse, Godfrey Windmill, Atwood Museum, Mayo House, and the Ship skeleton off cape cod offer plenty of historical buildings to visit and learn about the history of the area. Some might even be haunted 👻
